Selected works form the series PolyAustralis.

This series sees an attempt to rebalance the social scales and more accurately represent the changing face of Australian identity. The original images are sourced from a Polly Borland publication, created with the aim "to convey the changed notion of Australian identity which encompasses a whole new multicultural heritage”. However all but one face is embarrasingly White. I use the mark to disrupt, displace and dislocate the old and broken myth that Australia is, and was ever, a White country.
